World RX in the UK with Liam Doran

World RX is a fast paced, adrenaline filled race where super cars battle head to head on both dirt and asphalt.

Liam Doran invited us along to his home track (Lydden Hill) to get an in depth look at the sport. Lydden Hill Race Circuit is the UK’s shortest road racing circuit but to this day, is still known as the “Home of Rallycross”. The mile-long circuit is located at Wootton, about half-way between Canterbury and Dover in Kent. The FIA Rallycross Championship tour has now hit the World stage and a record number of people turned up at Lydden Hill to catch the excitement for themselves.

As an Official World RX tour sponsor, iON Cameras are used on all of the cars to capture all of the thrills and spills of the day.

With a record 37 Supercar entries rolling in to Lydden Hill for round two of the 2014 FIA World Rallycross Championship, it made sense RX to have a chat with the man who created the sport we love, Robert Reed.
